Local channel enable/disable

Note:
Do not use this procedure if the "Remote Channel Enable/Disable" feature is installed.

You cannot change the enable/disable status of host attachments for an individual printer or for the complete two-printer system unless the printers are in the Not Ready state.

You may make the printers Not Ready at either the printer operator panel or at the touchscreen. You must use that same panel to make the printers Ready.

Enabling a host attachment

  1. On the touchscreen, select Frequent Tasks -> Manage Attachments.
  2. From the list of currently installed attachments, select the attachment you want to enable. Then select Enable.
    Note:
    To enable an attachment all other attachments must be disabled. You can only have one attachment enabled.
  3. Make the printers Ready.

  1. On the touchscreen, select Frequent Tasks -> Manage Attachments.
  2. Select the enabled attachment.
  3. Select Disable.
