Operator

Printer operators perform the following day-to-day tasks for the printer:

• Responding to the operational needs of the printer, such as loading forms and clearing forms jams
• Replenishing the printer supplies, such as toner, developer mix, fuser oil, oiler belt, toner collector bottle, and fine filter
• Performing routine cleaning
• Checking print quality
• Running traces
• Splicing forms (if required).

The Infoprint 3000 Operator's Guide, supplied with each printer, contains general operating procedures, and is the primary reference book for printer operators. Printer operators should also read Supplies for information about printer supplies.
